Example Room 13 wrote together on why children SHOULD get pocket money

 Children SHOULD get pocket money

Everybody can agree that having pocket money is a great thing to have. It helps children help out with the chores and the cleaning. It also helps children to learn how to save and teaches children to respect their family and clean up after themselves.

First, let’s talk about why pocket money helps children to learn respect. Pocket money helps children to respect their family by giving them a reason to be more respectful. Some children without pocket money just sit around watching tv while their parents clean up the whole entire house. With pocket money the children will respect their parents by cleaning up and do their homework on time. They will listen to their parents and help out with the cleaning. Parents will be delighted and happy that their children are showing respect and helping clean up the house and the children are happy because they have some pocket money to spend.

Another awesome reason why children should get pocket money is they are able to spend the money on things that they want and need. Things like food, clothes, games and maybe even a bike. These things can give children time to learn to save money and treat their money responsibly. When children learn how to save they are able to buy better things and to not spend their money straight away and all at once. They could save their money for Christmas and buy presents for their whole family or even save their money for their birthday and buy a nice present for themselves.

Finally and most importantly children will be able to contribute with the chores and make sure that the house is clean and tidy. They will be able to help do the laundry, dishes and the drying and packing of the dishes. They could make sure that their room is nice and tidy, the vacuuming is done and the table is wiped. Families will be so happy because their children clean up after themselves.

In conclusion you would have to agree that children should get pocket money for all the reasons that i have said before. You know I’m right!
